Kiwi RV Imports Ltd has its origins back to early 2005 and specializes in importing and selling lightweight Keystone Springdale 5th Wheels, manufactured by the Springdale RV Company in Goshen, Indiana, USA.
Milton and Karen have a passion for travelling and have visited 30+ Countries. We saw a gap in the NZ market for a mid-size, lightweight 5th wheel so decided to set up Kiwi RV Imports Ltd to bring these wonderful trailers over for NZ customers.
Our yard is located 30 minutes north of the Auckland harbour bridge so it's handy to pop in and see us when you are passing by Silverdale or Orewa.
Milton and Karen decided to focus on just two floorplans which are factory modified to be on a WOF for New Zealand.
Other compliance work and upgrades are completed upon arrival in NZ by our experienced sub-contractors.
The 242 rear lounge and 249 rear bunkhouse floorplans work well as they are on a WOF, 3 ton towable and both models retain the 4m slide-out room which basically doubles your inside space. Their many residential features create that home feeling on-the-road.
All NZ-arriving Springdale 5th wheels go directly to have their compliance work done by experienced subcontractors. This work includes having all the wiring replaced to suit New Zealand standards and having NZ new appliances fitted.
All sub-contractors work carries a NZ guarantee and is completed to a high standard of finish by suitably qualified local tradesman.
“We started out importing one unit for ourselves and now years on, we have a busy operation with Kiwi RV Imports Ltd. Our Springdale trailers are a coach-built product that has been refined over many years. This also helps retain your capital investment and reduces the hit you take when it comes time to move it on.
The Springdale factory produces 50 units of each floorplan per run in the factory, which helps to regulate quality standards and ensures a uniform finish to each trailer. We have full USA dealer back-up, which assists us with our parts ordering and warranty service,” says Milton.
We are pleased to report our first 5th wheel expedition had been a successfull mission and we were already looking forward to other holidays once the trailer arrived back home in New Zealand.

We recommend you phone first to ensure the Springdale model you are interested in is available for viewing. We always have a Springdale on display however constant movement of trailers can mean the yard is sometimes left unattended. We also offer free NZ delivery so there are times we are away delivering trailers around NZ.
