MVP RV Inc. announced that it will be introducing a brand new line of toy haulers. “Impact was developed with a clear direction and vision,” Scott Richgruber, Impact national sales and product manager, stated in a news release.

“Affordability. Living here in Southern California, we know from personal experience how hard this region has been hit by the economy.

Therefore, we wanted to create a toy hauler that the average working family could afford, without giving up the features these experienced customers demand. Southern California is the RV industry’s toy hauler capital and it is a very competitive market here,” he said.

“You can’t just take a regular trailer and add a ramp to the back. There are many specific features and construction requirements needed to build a first class toy hauler. Plus, shipping costs from areas outside the southwest make it prohibitive to be truly price competitive in this segment,” he added.

The all new 2011 Impact comes standard with a 40-gallon fueling station, 100-gallon fresh water capacity, awning, black tank flush, LED clearance lights, decked floor with R-8 insulation, exterior speakers, pressure washer, stab jacks on all four corners, deluxe galley faucet with pullout sprayer, 13.5 Btu A/C, raised panel cabinet doors and full length drawer guides.

Milton Kilgour from Kiwi RV Imports adds, "We have been investigating toy hauler options for some time and we are pleased to find a West Coast manufacturer willing to work with us for New Zealand's specific requirements. We think this new line of Impact trailers will be well received by the New Zealand market and by people wanting to carry their toys away on holiday.

We are making some modifications like duel entry doors to suit NZ conditions."

Kiwi RV Imports Ltd is now the NZ distributor for the new IMPACT trailer range and we are very excited to release the Impact Toy Hauler line onto the NZ market later this year at the 2011 Covi Motorhome & Caravan Show in Auckland.

There are 6 floorplans manufactured but initinally 2-3 models will be introduced to NZ. These first Impact models will cover most of the requirements of our target market.

Five models are available under 3500 kgs GVWR so operatable on a WOF and offering a choice of sleeping arrangements and interior layouts. These lightweight toy haulers also allow a great range of NZ vehicles to partner up for towing.

Operating on a WOF keeps it cheap & easy for our customers to own a toy hauler without high, ongoing ownership costs. Also avoid paying RUC and contending with difficult COF rules. All models are fully self contained with full bathroom & cooking facilities on-board and many home comforts rarely found in this price range.

NZ pricing starts from $55,000 for the smaller IMPACT trailer.
